Our beginnings
In 1980, following the conversion to Jesus Christ of a family in the Quebec City region, regular meetings began in their home. Other families soon turned to the Lord and formed a new Christian assembly. A first meeting place was rented in Sainte-Foy. In 1984, the group became a church registered with the provincial and federal authorities. Missionary Fernand Fait became the community’s minister in 1986, when its place of worship was also established in Charlesbourg.
What defines the assembly
The Église Chrétienne des Pèlerins stands in the tradition of the Reformation and the revivals that followed, with a deep belief in a complete return to God and His Word.
We are believers from varied religious and social backgrounds who form a multiracial, autonomous Christian assembly. We are independent of any denomination or headquarters while sharing worldwide spiritual fellowship with other believers and Bible-based groups.
We gladly welcome anyone who wishes to attend our gatherings, where the emphasis is on the Word of God, the Holy Bible, and worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no organization to join or creed to profess. Our public activities are open and free of charge.
